Italy is pitched primarily at secondary students given the distance and the academic depth of the destinations. Sicily, Naples and Rome especially work best for students old enough to engage with the classical and historical material. However, all of our itineraries are tailor-made so we could definitely explore a more primary-friendly option.
All Italy trips are flight-based, departing from a London or regional airport. We offer free places for staff members on a 1:10 ratio for flight trips. All of the accommodation we use is audited to STF standards and is suitable for school groups. We use a range of hotels and hostels in great locations.
Yes - it’s easy to combine cities in Italy as there are great transport links! The most popular combinations are Rome with Naples and Venice with Verona. Lots of groups that travel to Florence will fly into Pisa so combine a trip to the Leaning Tower with their Florentine visits. Your dedicated travel consultant can work out the best practical combination given the available transport links and group size.
