Overview

Geography tours to Japan offer an incredible range of exciting and unique visits which make for an unforgettable experience for students (and teachers)!

Discover the city of Tokyo with its rich cultural sites, museums and attractions before you head out to explore more of the country.  Hakone and its views of Mount Fuji makes for a fantastic day trip year-round, and there are plenty of other options available.

Our geography itineraries are tailor-made to suit the season, as certain visits very much depend upon the weather conditions.  In winter, pay a visit to Nagano to observe the famous Snow Monkeys bathing in the hot springs.  In spring you'll have the opportunity to see the impressive snow wall of Tateyama, or the UNESCO World Heritage village of Shirakawa-go, as well as the stunning cherry blossom trees!  If your trip falls in autumn, then a day trip to the waterfalls and lakes of Nikko makes for the perfect excursion.
