School Trips to Bath

Britain has many beautiful, historic cities, but precious few can compare to Bath.  With some of the nation’s grandest streets – not to mention one of the world’s best-preserved Roman bathhouses – it’s clear to see that this sophisticated city has been a tourist draw for nearly 2000 years.

Famously home to the great Jane Austen and a source of inspiration for much of her writing, Bath has become a place of pilgrimage for fans and literature students alike.  It’s the best place to understand the strict and complex hierarchies of Regency society which permeate all of Austen’s novels.
