Suitable for Secondary Schools

Valencia's constant ambition to thrive and innovate makes it an engaging and exciting destination for a Science and Design trip. Of course the key visit here is the City of Art and Sciences, home to the interactive Science Museum and a collection of futuristic buildings.

The city's contemporary architecture continues into the centre, which is also home to the Valencia Museum of Fine Arts and Valencia's Museum of Modern Art. The contrasts and connections between these art collections, as well as the old and new of Valencian architecture, are sure to inspire your students when they are next in the classroom.

Our Suggested Itinerary

Stroll along the cobbled streets of Valencia's oldest neighbourhood, the Barrio del Carmen.

Visit Valencia's Museum of Modern Art, which takes a look at the artistic avant-garde of the 20th century, from Abstract and Pop Art, through to European Informalism and the New Figurative movement.

Learn about Valencia's most famous celebration, Las Fallas, at the Los Falleros Museum.
