Overview

From late November up until Christmas Eve, the city of Munich is transformed into a Christmas wonderland!

The Munich Christmas market retains its traditional Bavarian character, selling an assortment of handmade items and gifts to get you into the festive spirit.  Wandering through the stalls, you'll be drawn in by the scents of the delicious traditional food offerings available, with everything from Bratwurst to roasted chestnuts.  There's live festive music from the balcony of the town hall every afternoon and the market even has its own Christmas tram - hop aboard and warm up with a hot drink as you travel between markets!

Our Munich Christmas market tours are a great place for students to practise their German skills, and they also make for excellent enrichment trips.
