Our Suggested Itinerary

This itinerary is based on travelling by coach, but let us know if you would prefer to travel by Eurostar or by air.

  1. Day 1

Depart school in the morning to travel to France.

Take a stroll up the majestic Champs Elysées, leading you up to the Arc de Triomphe which lies at the end in Place Charles de Gaulle.  The Arc sits on the middle of a roundabout, the centre of twelve off-shooting avenues.

  2. Day 2

Go for a cruise on the river Seine: the Bateaux Mouches will give you spectacular views of this iconic city from a different angle.

Then head to the Louvre, the world’s largest art museum and a historic monument.  Hundreds of thousands of visitors flock here every year to marvel at the numerous sculptures, paintings, drawing and archaeological finds.

Continue by taking a stroll through the Tuileries Gardens, a leafy paradise nestled in the heart of a bustling city.  Then visit the Île de la Cité and stop for a photo op outside Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Finish your day with a wander through the Parc du Champ de Mars and see the iconic Eiffel Tower, one of the most famous landmarks in the world!

  3. Day 3

Start your day heading up to the artistic quarter of Montmartre and visit the Sacré Coeur – perched on the top of the hill, the beautiful white building is the highest point in the city.

Afterwards visit the Centre Pompidou, holding the largest collection of Modern Art in Europe.  Enjoy it’s unusual, yet mesmerising external architecture.

    OR

Visit the Musée de l’Armée, located at Les Invalides, to see a great collection of weapons and uniforms from French military conflicts.

Round off the day with a stroll through the Jardin de Luxembourg and see if you can find all 106 statues!

  4. Day 4

On your last morning in Paris, climb to the top of the Montparnasse Tower for some final views of this glorious city. The panoramic Observation Desk gives you a unique view that will take your breath away!

Optional extra visit: Have the unique experience of seeing Paris from above on a virtual simulation that allows you to fly over Paris.  At Flyview360 you can discover the city’s wonderful sights from a totally unique and breath-taking point of view.

    Travel back to the UK.
