Suitable for Secondary Schools

While Berlin is best known for its history and political significance, it was home to Alexander von Humboldt, Albert Einstein, Max Planck and many other names representing a great scientific tradition.  Today, with four universities, seven universities of applied sciences and more than 60 other institutions, Berlin's reputation as a 'capital of science' is well-deserved.

It is an excellent destination for Biology trips.  There is a wide range of guided tours and museums, and these are complimented by practical workshops at the Berlin-Buch University campus.
