Overview

Prague is the ideal place for an Art & Music trip, thanks to its rich cultural heritage and vast array of museums.  Its twisting medieval streets have inspired Smetana, Dvořák, Alfons Mucha, and David Černý, among many more.

Prague’s art galleries are an exciting alternative to those in London, Paris and Rome.  Despite bombing in World War II, the Gothic, Baroque, Art Nouveau and Cubist architecture remain intact, and it’s not uncommon to hear music drifting from the windows as you walk by.

Our Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1

Flight from the UK to Prague and coach transfer to your accommodation.

Stretch your legs and settle into your new surroundings, with some free time in the beautiful Old Town (Staré Město).

Go behind the scenes at the Rudolfinum concert hall on a guided tour, with a member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra!

  2. Day 2

Street art walking tour and workshop:

This morning, a local guide will show you Prague's lesser known artistic and architectural treasures and explore how recent history has shaped the city's subcultures and contemporary art movements.

After lunch, professional artists will help you create a street art stencil and a canvas you can take away as a memento!

Then explore the fairy-tale fortress of Prague Castle.  Don't miss the changing of the guard, every hour on the hour!

Optional evening activity: let us know if you’d like to hire a local venue, to put on a performance with your choir or orchestra!

  3. Day 3

Morning visit to the Trade Fair Palace, main seat of the National Gallery, which houses one of the world's largest collections of prints and drawings!
