Historic Moscow is now one of Europe’s most vibrant cities – a sprawling metropolis of more than 12 million people.  The Russian capital is a dazzling mix of wide avenues, medieval churches, Soviet skyscrapers, art galleries and shopping centres.  Well-known sights such as Red Square, the Kremlin, and Lenin’s tomb are a must.

The legacy of the Soviet period is evident across the city in its architecture and the cultural scene is impressive, with ballet, theatre and art still featuring heavily in daily life.

Moscow is a fascinating destination for a school trip and sure to be one of the highlights of school life.
