Overview

Snowdonia presents the perfect location for a case study of a deglaciated environment, and highlights the sheer impact within a small geographical area.  A visit here is well-suited to GCSE, AS and A2 level studies, as a range of text book glacial and periglacial landforms will aid student understanding, and will enable them to carry out a wide range of fieldwork activities and surveys.

You might also consider combining this itinerary with our North Wales Adventure or Diverse Snowdonia itinerary if you’d like to add some more local activities.
