School Trips to Yorkshire

The largest county in England, there’s definitely no shortage of things to see in Yorkshire!  Whether you want to take in a little culture, visit a historic castle or explore the many natural wonders that have helped to give God’s Own Country its name, you’re absolutely spoilt for choice.

Yorkshire is a particularly fantastic destination for History students, it’s known for its Roman and Viking heritage, as well as its Norman castles, medieval abbeys and Industrial Revolution-era cities.  A northern hub of art and culture, there’s also a diverse range of art galleries, craft centres and museums across the county.

Whether you decide to visit the cobbled streets of York, the world-class galleries in Wakefield or the vibrant city of Leeds, there are visits suitable for all aspects of the curriculum!
