Our Suggested Itinerary

This itinerary is based on travelling by coach, but let us know if you would prefer to travel by Eurostar or by air.

  1. Day 1

Depart school in the morning and travel to France.

Go for a wander through the Latin Quarter; home to the Sorbonne University, this neighbourhood is filled with student-filled cafés and is famed for its bookshops.

Then have the chance to go on a Guided Tour of the Sorbonne, a place of great intelligence and critical thinking since the 13th Century.

  2. Day 2

Spend the morning at a Language School to put your skills to the test!  Then put your French to good use at the Marché Saint-Germain, full to the brim with stalls selling fruit and vegetables, fish, meat and other local delicacies.

Afterwards, take a stroll through the Tuileries Gardens, a leafy paradise nestled in the heart of a bustling city.  Then visit the Île de la Cité and stop for a photo op outside Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Finish your day with a wander through the Parc du Champ de Mars and see the iconic Eiffel Tower, one of the most famous landmarks in the world!

  3. Day 3

Start your day by heading to Rue Cler and uncover hidden gems on one of Paris’ most beloved market streets.  Filled with shops selling local specialties, this is where Parisians do their shopping and it provides another great opportunity to use your French!

Then climb aboard the Bateaux Mouches for a river cruise along the Seine to see the sights of the city from the water.  Afterwards, have the chance to see the sights from the ground on a guided walk.  Pass by the Arc de Triomphe and walk up the Champs Elysées.

For the evening, you might choose to settle down for Lost in Frenchlation and enjoy a French film in an independent Parisian cinema.

    OR

Enjoy a trip to the theatre to see a French show (though perhaps with English subtitles!).

  4. Day 4

On your last morning in Paris, climb to the top of the Montparnasse Tower for some final views of this glorious city.  The panoramic Observation Desk gives you a unique view that will take your breath away!

    Travel back to the UK.
